Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe is one of the largest non-commercial science and engineering research centre in Germany. Education and training are statutory elements. Over 600 training courses, seminars and laboratory sessions with more than 11,000 participants each year take place in its Centre for Advanced Technological and Environmental Training.
