Engineering psychology and cognitive ergonomics
The conference will draw participants from both academia and the industrial sector, and will feature keynote addresses from leading experts from Europe and the USA, including the European Commission's Joint Research Centre. Among the topics to be covered by the conference are: aerospace systems, road user behaviour, human-computer interaction, medical ergonomics, team-working, industrial and engineering ergonomics, mental workload, situation awareness, human error, learning and training, applied cognitive psychology, requirements analysis, and fatigue at work.
In addition to the 120 or so papers due to be presented in the above topics, there will also be a symposium on cross-modal integration and multimodal interface design, and a tutorial on designing multimodal dialogues is also due to be held. A number of poster presentations and a small equipment exhibition are also expected to be held.
