Transferring solutions to the upstream oil and gas industry
The aim of this event will be to bring together the main players in the international supply chain in upstream oil and gas research and innovation. Participants at the conference will also include representatives from other key industries with technology transfer potential for the oil and gas industry. The emphasis will be on new technologies to solve current or future problems rather than on existing products.
Developments in other industries which may have relevance to solving problems and addressing requirements in the oil and gas industry will be highlighted during the conference. The exhibition, which will take the form of a trading floor, will offer to delegates the opportunity to discuss science, engineering and technology problems, and solutions on a one-to-one basis. This will also facilitate matching between users and providers of research and innovation.
In addition, a range of national and European funding organizations will deliver presentations on their role in the upstream oil and gas industry, the relevant funding programmes and technical areas covered by their programmes, and how they see the future for research in the industry.
The conference organizers are currently seeking innovative European companies from the oil and gas industry to exhibit at the event, as well as companies from other industry sectors who feel that they have a technology with potential application in the oil and gas industries.
