Cultural sciences, databases and Europe
The aim of the conference is to address basic problems of contemporary cultural processes and to broaden the dialogue among cultural scientists from all over the world, as well as between the cultural sciences.
The topics to be covered during the conference will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Cultural scientific concepts and processes;
- Science and information systems - national compilations and international analyses;
- Internationalization of research and education;
- Cultural science research institutes and universities on the Internet;
- International scientific communication, characters, languages, terminology and forms;
- Science and the Internet: options for and limitations of use:
- Science and the hardware and software industries;
- Scientific representation, auctoriality, transdisciplinarity and the Internet;
- Research and the cultural sciences, and its realization in the community.
