Object-oriented programming
The aim of the conference is to discuss the latest research in object technology and will comprise tutorials, workshops, demonstrations and poster sessions. The topics to be covered during the tutorial sessions will include the following:
- Techniques for object-oriented analysis and design;
- Designing concurrent object-oriented programmes in Java;
- Configuration management;
- Testing object-oriented components;
- Advanced programming styles and idioms.
Examples of the issues to be addressed in the workshops include:
- Object-oriented software architecture;
- Tools and environments for business rules;
- Secure Internet mobile computations;
- Learning and teaching objects successfully;
- Object-oriented technology and real-time systems.
The technical plenary sessions of the conference will consist of 24 technical papers and will cover topics such as:
- Modelling ideas and experiences;
- Design pattern and frameworks;
- Multiple paradigms under one roof;
- Language problems and solutions;
- Distributed memory systems;
- Reuse, adaptation and hardware support;
- Software engineering practices, methods and human concerns.
