European Technology Platforms (ETPs)

A two days meeting on the European Technology Platforms (ETPs) will be held by APRE – Agency for the Promotion of European Research – in Rome on 1st and 2nd of March 2006. Considering the growing importance of ETPs through the Seventh Framework Program for the European Research and considering, in particular, the Austrian Presidency Conference on European Technology Platforms that will be held in Vienna on 4th and 5th of May 2006, APRE organizes for its partners a meeting aimed at presenting the 31 Technology Platforms at the moment existing and at stimulating their participation to the ETPs.
Concerning this issue, APRE points out the great importance of a stronger presence of Italian members in the ETPs – at the moment quite weak in comparison with other European Countries – considering the fundamental role of ETPs in defining the new strategies for the competitiveness of European Union.For information:
