India’s Nanotechnology Potential Revealed at World Nano-Economic Congress India
The potential for India becoming a leader in the further enabling of nanotechnology commercialization has excited the interest of investors and industry over the past several years.
India has an annual production of engineering graduates five times higher than the United States, and industries from textiles to automotive already taking advantage of nanotechnologies for both domestic and export
markets. At the same time the Indian government and business community is waking up to the vast economic potential of nanotechnologies.
With this context as its backdrop, the World Nano-Economic Congress India (www.world-nano/india) will open its doors on March 27-29, 2006 in
Mumbai, India and provide the first opportunity to attend a business-focused conference with an international scope on the nanotechnology
developments in India.
