Computational linguistics and the generation of natural language

The 14th congress of the Spanish Society for the Generation of Natural Language will be held in Alicante, Spain, from 23 to 25 September 1998. The main objective of this congress is to bring together researchers working on any aspect of computational linguistics with the aim of encouraging the exchange of ideas and experiences.
The topics to be covered during the congress include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Corpus processing;
- Morphology, syntax, parsing, semantics and pragmatics;
- Information extraction and retrieval;
- Evaluation of natural language systems;
- Natural language generation;
- Machine translation;
- Word sense disambiguation.
