International technology transfer: challenges and opportunities
AMETMAS-NoE is a Network of Excellence in Advanced Methodologies and Tools of Manufacturing Systems supported under the EU's INCO-COPERNICUS programme for international cooperation in research with Central and Eastern European countries. The aim of the network is to stimulate technology transfer between academia and industry ,and between EU Member States and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the New Independent States (NIS) of the former Soviet Union.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers from academia and industry from different countries to discuss technology transfer and its various aspects and problems. It will provide an opportunity for the exchange of experience, building new links between academia and industry, and for the search for new international cooperation opportunities.
The theme of "International Technology Transfer in the Russian Federation" will cover various aspects of technology transfer in Russia, methods to stimulate the transfer of technology from academia and industry, and international technology transfer.
The various sessions of the workshop will cover the following:
- General aspects of technology transfer;
- Technology transfer in academic research centres;
- Technology transfer in industry;
- European session on technology transfer;
- Round-table discussion on the perspectives of future technology;
- Transfer development and international cooperation in research and production.
