Switch on to wind power

The annual conference of the British Wind Energy Association will be held in Cardiff, United Kingdom, from 2 to 4 September 1998 and will address the theme "Switch on to wind power".
The conference will open with a session entitled "Working with government" which will present the views of policy-makers representing European, national and local levels of government. This will include a presentation from the British Minister for Science and Energy, Mr. John Battle.
Other issues to be addressed during the conference will include:

- Technical innovations;
