A conference on the venture capital process and its potential for economies in transition will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 1 and 2 October 1998. The conference is targeted at business, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, solicitors and financial advisers.
It will offer participants the opportunity to meet representatives from different venture funds from Europe and the USA who are operating in Bulgaria or have an interest in doing so. The issues to be addressed will cover the following:
- Different venture capital funds available;
- Perspectives for venture capital business on the Bulgarian market;
- Economic and investment climate in Bulgaria;
- Establishing science parks as incubators for innovation.
