The nineteenth Europartenariat event to promote cooperation between SMEs in various European regions will be held in Valencia, Spain, on 12 and 13 November 1998. The event is organised under the European Commission Europartenariat programme (DGXVI and DG XXIII), within the framework of its regional and enterprise policy for the stimulation of the development of less favoured regions through promoting regional and international cooperation between SMEs in commercial, technological and financial areas.

The event offers participants the opportunity to contact potential partners and it is foreseen that around 3,000 enterprises from nearly 80 countries will attend. During the event cooperation proposals will be presented by the 518 SMEs from the three hosting regions of Valencia, Murcia and the Balearic Islands. A catalogue containing the profiles of these enterprises, as well as a brief description of their cooperation proposals, will be circulated to participants prior to the event. On the basis of this catalogue the visiting companies can select the hosting SMEs that they wish to meet with.
