Wood-fired heating applications

The first international exhibition of wood-fired heating applications will take place in Lons-le-Saunier, France, from 5 to 7 November 1998. The event will be funded within the framework of the Community Initiative for cross-border cooperation (INTERREG 2) and is organised by the European Technical Institute of Wood Energy.
The event is dedicated to wood as a non-polluting source of energy and will offer forest management solutions, with particular emphasis on preventing the elimination of forest resources. It will present an exhibition of interest to both professionals in forestry and related industries, and the public, and will provide information on the latest technical innovations and on the economic prospects in the wood sector. The exhibition will display the latest innovations in wood-fired heating systems, in particular automatic heating systems.
In addition, a series of conferences and expositions will inform participants on topics such as greenhouse gases, eco-taxes and on issues related to silviculture.
