Nanoscience and nanotechnology

NANOMEETING 99 will be held in Minsk, Belarus, from 17 to 21 May 1999, bringing together an international forum of specialists in science, technology and applications of nanosize structures. The conference will present and discuss recent results obtained in areas such as the physics and chemistry of nanostructures, nanotechnology and nanosize optical and electronic devices. In addition, an extended specialised session on silicon nanostructure-based opto-electronics will discuss the latest research results in this area.

The conference organisers are currently seeking submissions of papers related to the topics to be covered during the conference. These will be presented as part of the scientific programme of the conference which will be composed of invited review talks, oral presentations and poster sessions.
