The third New York Business Information Conference will be held in New York, USA, on 9 and 10 November 1998. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for both users and vendors to meet and debate the key issues that are affecting the business information market today. The target audience would include information and library managers and executives responsible for corporate information and knowledge strategies.

The conference will be composed of a series of keynote sessions, panel discussions, debates, seminars and workshops. It will comprise a series of very practical sessions including partnering with vendors, comparing search engines with retrieval software, information audits, intranets and extranets and implementing knowledge strategies.

The topics to be discussed during plenary sessions will include:

- Towards the next century and the nature of tomorrow's company;
- Cultivating corporate culture towards a knowledge environment;
- Measuring intellectual capital;
- Aggregating content to meet client needs.
