Fifth Framework Programme roadshow - South-west England

The south-west England Innovation Relay Centre is organising a series of roadshows throughout its region during October and November 1998 to promote the new opportunities to be opened up for researchers under the EU's forthcoming Fifth RTD Framework Programme. The events are organised in cooperation with the UK government's Office of Science and Technology and the European Commission.

The roadshows will aim to outline to potential participants in the Fifth Framework Programme the research funding opportunities which will be available and the types of research which are likely to receive support. In addition, they will also highlight the different services and organisations in south-west England which can provide support to researchers seeking funding.

The roadshows will be held as follows:

- Gloucester: 7 October 1998;
- Swindon: 8 October 1998;
- Bristol: 9 October 1998;
- Plymouth: 13 October 1998;
- Exeter: 14 October 1998;
- Dorchester: 15 October 1998;
- Redruth: 3 November 1998;
- Salisbury: 9 November 1998.
