CREAL 98 - European research in dairy products

CREAL 98, a conference on research in dairy products in Europe, will take place in Paris, France, on 26 November 1998. The event is organised by Arilait-Recherches and supported by the EU's FAIR research programme in the field of Agriculture and Fisheries.

In view of the upcoming Fifth Framework Programme, the conference will focus on research-industry cooperation in the European perspective. The aim is to bring together representatives of the dairy products industry and researchers from across the EU to discuss methods and explore cooperation possibilities.

The conference will address the following themes:
- Dairy research in Europe: a review of scientific publications;
- Benefits from research in product innovation;
- European organisations which have formed partnerships with companies;
- European programmes for research in dairy products:
. Dairy products research under the FAIR programme;
. Milk in the upcoming Fifth Framework Programme.
