A new EU-funded specific support action entitled InJoy & Train, with project consortium members from four EU countries, Italy, the Netherlands, Greece, and Hungary, as well as Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan, is carrying out its second training workshop for Ukrainian institutions working in the field of Food, Agriculture and Biotechnology.
InJoy & Train aims to establish an East European cooperation network for the international joint training of the consortium member countries in the “Food, Agriculture and Biotechnology” theme of the future 7th Framework Programme. The project wishes to strengthen the link among the researchers of EU countries and Newly Independent States working in the fields of Food, Agriculture and Biotechnology. Program of the training workshop includes different aspects on the Framework Programmes of the EU, their financing opportunities, financial instruments, and the know-how of successful participation.
The project facilitates participation of the NIS countries at the EU Framework Programs by different ways, where the training is in the first place. InJoy & Train has launched its website http://www.injoyandtrain.net/(opens in new window) which offers various services to its registered users: free registration and a detailed profile form, a partner search facility, a virtual forum assisting the networking of website users, training material for the training workshops, and information on events organized within the project as well as related events within the areas of Food, Agriculture and Biotechnology.
The training on the possibilities offered by the 7th Framework Programme of Research and Development of the European Union will take place on 9th and 10th November 2006 in the National Agricultural University of Ukraine in Kiev.
