Mobile, location and transport telematics services

A conference on mobile, location and transport telematics services will be held in London, United Kingdom, from 4 to 6 November 1998. The conference will provide a forum for discussion between the mobile and transport industries on issues such as solutions to the technological and strategic barriers to providing mobile location applications.

Key features of the event will include over 30 presentations from mobile, transport and location industries and a technical briefing on standardisation and technology integration in transport and communications. The plenary sessions of the conference will include the presentation of commercial case studies and market reports and will cover the following in detail:

- In-vehicle applications;
