Managing European research projects

On 8 February 2007, the seminar "Managing European research projects – Best practices from NM2 for FP7 projects" takes place in Heidelberg, Germany.

This seminar is part of the training activities of EU-funded research project NM2 – New Media for the New Millennium. The goal is to provide practical knowledge for setting up project consortia, defining a research strategy, and writing successful project proposals in EU Framework Programme 7.

The focus of the seminar will be on the IST Research Theme, but most of the seminar contents will be applicable to other thematic areas of FP7 as well.

The content of the seminar will be based on the experiences gained in the preparation and implementation of IST research project NM2, which is an Integrated Project in Framework Programme 6.

Target audience:
Project managers from companies and institutions who plan to submit an FP7 project proposal, or who would like to join a project consortium.

Thursday, 8 February 2007, 09:00 - 15:30.

Eurescom, Wieblinger Weg 19/4, 69123 Heidelberg, Germany.

Training material:
All participants receive a documentation of the seminar presentations in print format.

Participation fee:
EUR 40 for training material, lunch and beverages.

Registration:
There is a limit of 30 participants. Registrations will be handled on a first-come, first serve basis.
