The Energy Show '98
The event will comprise a two-day exhibition with complementary workshops and events to highlight the many ways in which energy costs can be reduced, productivity increased, comfort conditions improved and environmental impacts reduced. The workshops will address a range of topics, such as lighting and lighting controls and variable speed drives, some of which constitute part of the OPET work programme of the Energy Centre.
The exhibition will bring together over 60 exhibitors, who will display the latest technology for energy saving, as well as boiler and ancillary equipment, energy auditing and compressed air products. The event will also provide a forum for the exchange of views, information and experience, and aims to contribute significantly towards achieving Ireland's energy saving targets.
In addition, the services of the Irish Energy Centre OPET will be on display, and it will organise a half-day seminar on EU energy programmes such as the Non-nuclear Energy research programme (JOULE-THERMIE).
