HYDROTOP'99 - Water systems management

HYDROTOP'99, the fifth in a series of events dedicated to the water industry, will be held in Marseille, France, from 15 to 17 June 1999. The event will comprise an exhibition, a business convention and a scientific and technical congress.
The business convention will be sponsored by the EU's INTERPRISE programme, and will provide participants with the opportunity to meet with other businesses and potential customers to form strategic partnerships in areas such as new markets, new technologies, and cooperative research and development ventures.
The exhibition of the conference will aim to create an industrial and commercial meeting place in southern Europe for the water supply and purification sector. It will provide a showcase for innovation and a technological forum allowing participants both to display their latest products and to be updated on scientific progress in the sector.
The conference organisers are currently seeking the submission of papers for presentation during the scientific and technical congress, which will address topics under the following headings:
- Water resource development and management;
- Institutional and regulatory aspects;
- Pollution and practices;
- Organisational and socio-economic aspects.
