EPISTEP workshop on ETPs and FP7, Rome

The EPISTEP project will hold a workshop in Rome on 28 February 2007 entitled "ICT European Technology Platforms and FP7".

In the framework of the EPISTEP (www.epistep.org) project, EBA (European Business Associates Srl) and APRE (Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea) in collaboration with CONFINDUSTRIA, are organising a workshop in Rome on 28 February 2007 entitled "ICT European Technology Platforms and FP7", aimed at organisations, specifically SMEs, who are seeking more information about the opportunities offered by the new Framework Programme and the European Technology Platforms (ETPs).
Representatives of the ENIAC, ARTEMIS and eMobility ETPs will be present at the workshop and will describe the activities of the platforms in the sectors of nano-electronics, embedded systems and mobile communications.
Further presentations will be given by the Italian national ICT delegate, Aldo Mascioli, on an overview of the FP7 ICT workprogramme, and EPISTEP partners EBA and APRE on how EPISTEP can assist SMEs in the sectors of nano-electronics, embedded systems and mobile communications and how organisations interested in these sectors can participate in ICT Call 1 which is now open for participation.
The event will be hosted by CONFINDUSTRIA in Rome, in Viale dell'Astronomia 30.
Participation in the event, which will be held in Italian, is free of charge, on a first come, first serve basis.
