A conference on learning development will be held in Riga, Latvia, from 13 to 15 November 1998, organised within the framework of a SOCRATES-COMENIUS project for the development of municipal educators on managerial work processes. The action also aims to build competence for change, and ensure the development of other key competencies, and team-building skills.
The conference will serve to disseminate the results of project assignments carried out in Wales, Sweden and Finland. In addition, examples of good practice in educational settings and topics focusing on the experiences of the educator, procedures and team work will also be discussed.
The topics to be discussed in detail during the conference will include:
- Maintaining quality curricula;
- Flexible timetabling;
- Coping with change;
- In-service training;
- Open management;
- Enterprise and evaluation.
