Education Multimedia Task Force and Telematics for Education and Training - concertation meeting

The next concertation meeting for the Education Multimedia Task Force and the Education and Training sector of the Telematics Applications programme will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 19 and 20 November 1998. The event is designed to bring together representatives involved in the 86 projects funded within these initiatives, in order to support them in their work and to share results and experiences.

The themes of the meeting will be based on the previous meeting, held in June 1998, and will be as follows:

- Multimedia design and production;
- Learning processes;
- Access to multimedia;
- Virtual universities;
- School networks and teacher training;
- Industrial training.

Suggestions are also invited for the agenda, including subjects and speakers for the plenary and parallel working sessions. Project groups are also asked to propose presentations based on their experience which could help tackle educational and technical research issues of common interest.
