Culture as a market for the digital media industries

The third conference of the European Multimedia Forum will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 4 and 5 November 1998. The conference will bring together a wide range of representatives from the European Commission and Parliament, as well as senior business representatives, and will consist of a series of presentations and panel discussions.
The aim of the conference will be to explore the following issues:
- The dynamics of the European culture market place;
- Cultural window on the world;
- Trading in culture: the importance of the intellectual property rights;
- Funding and sponsoring cultural multimedia.
