VISION Era-Net: Call for tender

VISION Era-Net is a collaborative network of nationally and regionally leading innovation policy agencies. The network includes 12 partners from 10 countries, and develops shared knowledge bases for innovation policy. The project is part of the 6th Framework Programme of EU that supports the building of European Research Area (ERA), and runs between 2005 and 2008.
Joint procurement of strategic policy studies is one of the new collaboration mechanisms developed by the VISION Era-Net, and is part of other iniatives to open up national innovation policy knowledge bases and to enhance cross-national policy learning.
CALL FOR TENDERS: “Governance structures in national research and innovation policy: Comparison and assessment of the approaches in the VISION Era-Net partner countries”
The objective of the study is to identify major challenges facing the governance of national innovation systems in Europe and especially in the participating VISION Era-Net countries. The study should also explore factors that create pressure for renewal of governance structures in different innovation environments.
The tender process is administered by Tekes – the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation. Maximum value of the contract is 100.000€.
