Corporate learning on-line

A European workshop on "Corporate Learning On-Line" will be held in Malta, from the 8 to 11 December 1998, organised by the European Telecommunications Informatics Services. The workshop will address the issue of the application of multimedia technology to corporate education and development and the extension of knowledge and skills on a broad basis. In order to ensure this extension rapidly and at an acceptable cost, the development of new learning methodologies, technologies and attitudes is required.

The specific objectives of the conference include:

- To identify state-of-the-art technology for on-line and interactive education;
- To enhance professional and managerial knowledge and skills through the use of multimedia;
- To promote the use of new learning technologies for corporate training and education;
- To help improve the quality of the learning process for individuals and organisations;
- To combine new innovative processes and technology for effective education.
