Our workshop, Finance in EU Research Projects, being held in Hungary, is essential for finance and administration staff involved in EU research projects, whether as a coordinator or partner. It is also suitable for project managers and professional advisors working on these projects.
FINANCE IN EU RESEARCH PROJECTS
Tuesday 15 May 2007 – Budapest, Hungary
Framework Seven (FP7) brings with it new financial rules, while EU research projects are still working under the FP6 regime, with its 250 page manual, audit guidelines, reporting guidelines and much more. The rules cover everything from eligible costs to interest earned on advance payments, from payment terms to penalties, from subcontracting to social costs. Through lectures and exercises, this workshop will give you a practical interpretation of the EU financial rules and guidelines drawing on real experience. It will bring out the differences and similarities between FP6 and FP7.
The workshop is It will be limited to 24 participants, to allow high levels of interaction and plenty of time for questions, and will be given in English.
