The Agrobiopôle wallon asbl, pole of excellence in agronomy and biotechnologies organises the international seminar: Methodology and tools for improving agro-biotech clusters management which will take place on the 22nd of May 2007 at CREALYS Science Park (Les Isnes, near Namur and Gembloux, Belgium).

This seminar is organized in the context of the Agrobiopôle participation in FP6 ABC-Network (Agro-Biotech Clusters Network) project, part of the Europe Innova initiative (http://www.europe-innova.org/ABC-Network(opens in new window)) launched in October 2005 by DG Enterprise and Industry to support the networking of innovation players.

Mainly focused on best practices in agro-food/agro-biotech clusters management and on barriers to innovation and networking, this seminar will also address the following subjects: European clustering process, Clustering policy in Wallonia, Investment in agro-biotech sector and Financing of food innovation. International connections and European activities of Agrobiopôle’s research key-players, CRA-W and FUSAGx, and Technology transfer at Crealys Science Park will also be presented on this occasion.
