Plasma and water jet cutting

A conference on the use and application of plasma cutting and water jet cutting technologies in SMEs in the craft sector will be held in Trier, Germany, on 28 October 1998. The aim of the event is to discuss the rapid development in laser technologies which has taken place during the last few years. Due to falling prices and technological improvement, which has led to process stability and optimised use, these technologies are of increasing interest to SMEs, especially with regard to economic efficiency.

The focus of the event will be:

- Lectures on the specific topics concerning laser technologies, plasma cutting and water jet cutting;
- Practical demonstrations concerning the highlights of plasma cutting, laser cutting and water jet cutting;
- Discussions with experts on a wide spectrum of laser technologies.
