Innovative business services

A workshop devoted to the presentation of a series of activities carried out by Progetto Novimpresa for the benefit of companies located within the Venezia Giulia region (Objective 2 of the European Structural Funds), will be held in Trieste, Italy, on 28 October 1998. The workshop will assess all the initiatives which have been launched to promote cooperation between research and business, as well as the technological development of some firms.

The following topics will be covered in detail:

- EU Structural Funds reform: financing prospects for firms in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region;
- Innovation and competitiveness among SMEs: challenges and opportunities;
- Progetto Novimpresa: a real opportunity for business innovation;
- Research-enterprise cooperation: from innovation catalogues and know-how to interventions at company level;
- Steinbeis experience in the transfer of technology to SMEs and cooperation with Progetto Novimpresa;
- Novimpresa on-line and business services via the Internet.
