Fifth Framework Programme funding for innovative water technologies

The coordinator of the Innovation Relay Centre for North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, is organising a seminar on opportunities for funding research within the Fifth RTD Framework Programme for innovative water technologies and the internationalisation of the German water sector. The seminar will be held in Mülheim, Germany, on 26 November 1998.

The seminar will discuss the lack of representation of the German water sector in international markets, and the opportunities presented within the Fifth RTD Framework Programme for addressing this deficit. The objective is to inform German SMEs, institutions and organisations active in the sector on the opportunities presented within the Programme.

Speakers during the seminar will include invited experts from the European Commission, the Ministry for Economic Affairs of the regional government in North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as representatives from the German water industry and research sector.
