Digital Media World'98

The fifth international conference and exhibition entitled "Digital Media World'98" will be held in London, United Kingdom, from 17 to 19 November 1998. The event will incorporate the "London effects and animation festival" and will display the latest in creative technologies, from editing, special effects, modelling, animation software through to the latest in NT machines.

The aim of the event is to enable participants to be updated on the latest changes and developments in creative digital tools and the latest technology trends. Key features of this year's event will include:

- The "Digital Video Pavilion" covering the different non-linear editing systems running on a selection of platforms;
- "Wired World" providing an insight into the future of Web design, and offering a series of seminars on topics including Web authoring and 3D and 2D graphics;
- "Kinetix Developer Village" displaying plug-ins which are available for 3D Studio Max;
- "LEAF Recruitment Village" offering participants the opportunity to meet and talk with professionals in the field;
- "Digital Cinema" displaying the latest in digital playout.
