A European training seminar on the tools, methods and instruments for competitive advantage through technology will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 19 and 20 November 1998. The seminar will be organised by the European Association for the Transfer of Technologies, Innovation and Industrial Information (TII), in conjunction with the Brussels Innovation Relay Centre, Technopol, and will be supported by the European Commission, DG XIII, under the INNOVATION programme.

The seminar aims to provide both analytical and practical know-how in response to particular scenarios. The following will be examined in detail:

- Identifying priorities and defining know-how technologies;
- Applying technology indicators and pinpointing weaknesses;
- Methods for collecting sources of information and expertise;
- Encouraging positive changes in behaviour.
