The travelling exhibition on Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion Research, "FUSION EXPO: Harnessing the energy of the stars" will be in Helsinki, Finland, from 12 to 26 November 1998. The exhibition has been produced by the Euratom-Suisse Association with financial support from the European Atomic Energy Community, Euratom.

FUSION EXPO features some 75 panels, in addition to multimedia presentations, videos, experimental objects and models. These explain how fusion research into possible new energy sources is conducted in Euratom-associated laboratories, as well as in other leading laboratories around the world.

The exhibition is divided into four sections:

- The problem of long-term energy supply;
- How does magnetic fusion work?
- Other approaches to fusion;
- Reactor and environmental aspects.
