SEPG'98, the eleventh European Software Engineering Process Group conference, will be held in Atlanta, USA, from 8 to 11 March 1999. The event will bring together international representatives from government, industry and academia in order to provide participants with a global perspective on software process improvement.

The conference will address the theme "Software process improvement investments today for a changing tomorrow" and will focus on the future of software process improvement activities. It will comprise a series of plenary sessions, invited and contributed presentations, panel discussions and meetings. Examples of the topics to be covered during the conference will include:

- Process improvement and software exports;
- Process improvement and business objectives;
- Process improvement and the resulting impact on global market competencies;
- Capability maturity models: small and large team experiences;
- How to create and sustain a successful team process culture;
- Practitioner process improvement;
- Risk management: adopting and adhering.
