Workshop: Get connected! International Cooperation in Materials Research

The aim of the workshop is to inform participants about ongoing activities and funding schemes of the European Union in the field of Materials Research, with special emphasis on research collaboration with South Africa, India, Russia and USA.
Key speakers: José-Lorenzo Vallés (Head of Unit, DG Research), Petra Wolff (Federal Ministry of Education and Research), Piotr Swiatek (Science Officer COST), Daan du Toit (South African Mission to the European Union), James Wylde (MANCEF - Micro and Nanotechnology Commercialization Education Foundation, USA), Igor Zornikov (Regional Information Point for S&T Cooperation with EU, Russia) and Mauricio Terrones (NCP Mexico).
A poster session in the second part of the workshop will give time will for networking and partner or consortium search.
