Investment forum for growth technology companies

The fourth investment forum for growth technology companies organised by the Federation of the Electronics Industry will be held in London, United Kingdom, on 23 and 24 November 1998. The aim of the event is to provide an opportunity for investors to meet leading technology companies to promote growth and development in the emerging British technology sector.

The emphasis of the Forum will be on "business marriages" where venture capitalists, private investors and business angels will be brought together with technology companies in need of equity finance to launch new products, enter new markets or for acquisitions, mergers and alliances.

The attractions of the event for investors will include:

- The presentation of around 30 emerging and developing companies covering selected technology areas;
- The opportunity to explore a broad range of investment opportunities from seed capital to publicly quoted companies seeking further financing;
- The opportunity to learn information on the business plans, financial projections and product innovation from presenting companies.

Participating technology companies who are currently seeking financing or wishing to explore strategic partnerships will be given the opportunity to present their products and business plans to a wide range of potential investors and to meet with potential investors on both a formal and informal basis.
