The workshop – conducted over 4 days – is designed to illustrate the necessity of developing comprehensive business models for innovative projects and positioning them so as to maximise the possibility of attracting the necessary investment and expertise to further develop the business. In addition the workshop will focus on strategic and operational aspects of marketing. Overall the workshop aims to endow incubator staff with appropriate methodologies to assist project holders in building their business plans, making successful presentations to investors and managing relations with them.

This workshop is of great value to JE – whose main mission is to transform, integrate and link Jordanian industry with the global economy. JE aims to improve and sustain the competitiveness of Jordanian enterprises by enhancing their managerial and productive capabilities” Commented H.E. Yarub Qudah, CEO of JE. “This being the second Medibtikar workshop within a year indicates and highlights the success of the first one.
“The coming workshop is tackling different audiences; incubator management and staff – considered to be the primary beneficiaries; the entrepreneurs and projects holders since they provide the technical and real business experience and, financial officers – acting as potential investors who are assessing innovative projects – their main role shall be to illustrate the investor’s perception of business development as well as explaining the funding processes. This workshop is a mile stone within the Medibtikar programme and plays a crucial part of our support for incubators in Jordan”, said Mr. John Yates – Medibtikar Programme Manager.
As innovation plays a crucial role for the competitiveness of Jordanian enterprises, Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JE) closely cooperates with Medibtikar on supporting innovation activities (including eco-innovation). JE aims to provide better access to finance and deliver business support services in Jordan.
