Seminar on How to write a successful FP7 proposal

The next seminar of the ScanBalt project TRAYSS PRIME takes place on January 30th 2008 in Turku, Finland. The experts will answer the question “How to write a successful FP7 proposal?” together with the workshop participants.

30 January 2008
Austria
The workshop in Turku is targeted at PhD-students, postdocs and junior group leaders in the life science sector that to date have little or no experience with EU research funding. It will provide insights into all aspects that are important for the optimal use of the funding opportunities provided by the 7th Research Framework Programme, starting with the identification of suitable calls within the “Cooperation” programme, the search for project partners and the building of research consortia and is finally going into details of the proposal and evaluation procedure.

The workshop includes extensive hands-on-exercises, thus giving the participants the opportunity to directly apply and deepen the knowledge gained. After finishing the workshop, participants will be able to navigate the “jungle” of EU research funding and to prepare grant applications within FP7 more effectively and successfully. More information and registration is available at www.scanbalt.org/trayss.

Registration Fee: Standard fee 120 EUR, ScanBalt and BioTurku Members 90 EUR, Students 45 EUR, Participants from the new EU member states can apply for free participation
