Success through international cooperation – IRC Future Match at the CeBIT 2008

Looking for cooperation partners in other European countries and interested in making initial personal contacts? Seeking new solutions for your technical problems or simply want to get an idea of new technologies being offered in the information and communications branch in Europe? All this and more is made possible by the international partnering event IRC Future Match, which will again offer a platform for companies, academic organisations and research institutions to meet at CeBIT 2008 to discuss possibilities for technical cooperation and joint research projects. IRC Future Match is being organised by partners from the European network of Innovation Relay Centres (IRCs) with the support of the two European projects HAGRID and OPEN TTT as well as the Deutsche Messe AG.
Interested organisations can participate by registering online at www.futurematch.cebit.de and entering a collaboration profile as well as their desired form of cooperation. Registration is open until February 6, 2008. Participants can search the online catalogue for interesting collaboration profiles and request meetings with potential partners. All requests will be coordinated by the IRC partners and organised in individual schedules for personal, face-to-face meetings, which participants will receive before the event. All meetings will take place at the IRC Future Match stand in the future parc in hall 9, booth A18.
An information session on European ICT research offered by the EU project HAGRID will round out the programme. An overview of the EU 7th frame programme for ICT as well as experiences of project participants will be presented. The session will take place on March 5 (16.00 -18.00) at future talk in hall 9.
IRC Future Match 2007 gave over 530 participants from 39 European countries the chance in over 1,200 prearranged face-to-face meetings to make contacts and to discuss technical collaboration, joint development, research projects, manufacturing, marketing and licensing agreements.
