A special Management Training Week organized between 5th and 9th of May by the EU-funded project TRAYSS PRIME now offers the opportunity for young scientists from different countries to acquire knowledge on these important aspects in a condensed and interactive form.
At the beginning of their independent careers, young scientists are faced with a multitude of new and unaccustomed tasks for which they were not trained. These tasks include the acquisition and management of research funds, management of complex research projects on the organizational, scientific, communicational and financial levels as well as handling of intellectual property issues and economic exploitation of research results.
This workshop is targeted at junior group leaders, postdocs, advanced PhD students and other scientists in the life science sector in the Baltic Sea region who wish to improve their skills in scientific management.
