UKRO - IPR issues within FP7 projects: Practical aspects
Target audience: aimed at European Liaison Officers, research managers and project managers.
Format: delivered by the IPR helpdesk and supported by UKRO, the event will include presentations and facilitated discussions on IPR issues. The aim of the event is to provide an overview of IPR issues in FP7 projects. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions. Some of the key topics to be discussed include:
- Importance of the IP-related issues for the success of FP7 projects
- Legal framework for FP7 projects
- Memorandum of Understanding
- Confidentiality agreements
- IPR ownership, background and foreground
- Access rights
- Negotiating the Consortium Agreement and main issues to consider (including clauses)
