Diagonales 2008 topic is at the very core of nowadays social issues. It will be approached not only as a scientific object (technological innovations, fundamental research discoveries) but also as a social problem.
The Summer school is transdisciplinary and international. It is not only aimed at post-graduate students in Health Science but also at young researchers coming from all disciplines and different countries. The purpose is to work together for five days on a common topic and to collaborate on joint projects in small teams.
According to the principle of the famous French workshops called Doctoriales®, students work in teams for five days in a pleasant and convivial place. They can thus experience mixing of scientific culture as well as national diversity.
