A new event on NANO in Romania - ELECTROCHIMAT national workshop

ELECTROCHIMAT is a project financed by the National Authority for Scientific Research from Romania through its Program CEEX -"Excellence in Research". The project started in September and the duration is 25 months and it’s focused on “nano” sector.
Scientific staff for research activities of ELECTROCHIMAT includes research workers from one prestigious Romanian University and five important research institutes. In the project is also involved a consulting company responsible for the project dissemination and coordination.
The participants in the ELECTROCHIMAT represent a broad spectrum of disciplines including electrochemistry, physical chemistry, physics, materials science, biological engineering.
ELECTROCHIMAT project is currently in the forth stage of implementation, its main goal being “the fundamental selection and optimization research for the composite nano-structured and electrically-obtained materials”.
During this particular stage, ELECTROCHIMAT developed a comprehensive research program to explore the assembly of complex materials for the reaction catalysis of the hydrogen disruption. It also researched the catalysis activity for obtaining hydrogen on the composite nano-structured materials. Another important research aspect during the 4th phase was the optimization of the corrosion bearing properties of these special materials.
In order to understand the real value of these complex studies, partner 6 of the Consortium , FM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY , will organize a National Workshop on the 6th of June 2008, in the Faculty of Mechanics, in Polytechnic University of Bucharest. All relevant research community active in nano-materials field or other interested parties are invited to participate. During this workshop all partners will present the results of the project up to this moment and will outline future important aspects and ideas. Also a posters session will be organized.
