Ter@tec symposium gathers annually the key actors of Simulation and High Performance Computing. The plenary lectures and workshops will present an update on the use of simulation in many areas of research and industry, on the evolution of technology (systems and software) and the training of specialists.
The 2008 edition will be held on 3 and 4 June at GENOCENTRE in Evry, France.

Registration is free but compulsory
The first day will focus on major High Performance Computing programmes of USA, Japan and Europe, followed by a presentation on technological developments and HPC views on four main sectors automotive, space research, oil exploration, and energy. The conclusion will be given by European Research Commissioner.
The second day will have three specialized workshops on material science, challenges in the petaflops range computing, and visualization-multimedia in HPC. During the second day, a specific workshop will be dedicated to a seminar on cooperation between France and the United States.Please register before May 20, 2008 by sending your coordinates to teratec@cea.fr
