European Congress for Medical and Biological Engineering (eMBEC 2008)

International well-known Belgian scientists and clinicians are working in
one or more Biomedical Engineering fields. As a local organising committee
we suggest as a general theme for the MBEC 2008 Congress:
"ENGINEERING for HEALTH"

The challenge of "Engineering for Health" is to bring together a well-
balanced scientific program that reflects all the recent evolutions in the
different biomedical fields and to succeed in breaching the gap between
research and clinic.

This challenge can only by successful if all European Researchers and
clinicians find each other. Therefore we have the pleasure to invite you, as
one of the leading professionals in your field, to attend the next edition of
MBEC 2008 and if possible to submit an abstract or paper resulting from
your current research work. The submission deadline is 10 May 2008.

The MBEC 2008 congress has the privilege of being joint by the following
organisations and meetings:
- the E.S.E.M. Congress 2008
- BMT 2008 40th Annual Conference of the German Society for Biomedical
Engineering (DGBMT) within VDE 2008
- the I.E.E.E. - E.M.B.S. Benelux Chapter Symposium 2008
- This congress has been endorsed by the E.A.M.B.E.S.
