UKRO: Funding Opportunities in Framework Programme 7 - Marie Curie Actions

In its capacity as National Contact Point (NCP) for the European Commission's Marie Curie Fellowships and in collaboration with various partners, UKRO is organising a series of information and proposal writing sessions. These will outline the aims of the different Marie Curie Actions and will also focus on proposal writing for the different Marie Curie Actions.

The following events are planned for May and June 2008.

- University of Manchester, 19th May 2008
- University of Edinburgh, 27th May 2008
- Natural History Museum, 29th May 2008
- University of Leicester, 30th May 2008
- University of Bristol, 2nd June 2008

Aim of each proposal writing session
The aim of the session is to provide participants with an overview of the Marie Curie actions in the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), and with a deeper understanding of the proposal format and the key issues they are required to address in planning and writing their proposal.

Who should attend?
The sessions will be of particular interest to UK-based researchers who are interested in and/or are planning to submit a proposal for the Marie Curie actions in FP7. The events will focus on the following actions: Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowships for Career Development, International Incoming Fellowships, International Outgoing Fellowships, European Reintegration Grants, International Reintegration Grants and Initial Training Networks.

Programme outline
Two separate stand-alone sessions will be held, one in the morning (focusing on Initial Training Networks) and one in the afternoon (focusing on Individual actions).
