INNOVAFUN has organised a workshop in Brussels on May 29th 2008 on "Standards, Innovative Business and New Markets: Experiences from practice".

The aim of this workshop is both, on the one side show the experience inside INNOVAFUN regarding the use of standards together with other experiences on the topic and on the other hand, give the attendance the opportunity to offer their viewpoints on possible synergies and future collaboration with other experts, as well as share your knowledge and ideas in the NETWORKING SESSION. This workshop aims to be a forum for presentation, reflexion and discussion on the present and emerging European opportunities in support for innovation. The agenda includes Mr. Reinhard Büscher (Enterprise and Industry D.G.); Mr. John Ketchell, (Director New Opportunities and Pre-Standards, CEN); Mrs. María José Núñez, (AIDIMA-INNOVAFUN project manager), Dr.Ricardo Gonçalves (UNINOVA); Mr. Bart DeTurck (Union Européene de l'Ameublement); and representatives of the Europe INNOVA standard networks BioHealth, Depuis and Euromind.
